Locks Farmer
Locks started her career in the charity sector in 2005 at Cancer Research. During Locks’ 12 years at Cancer Research UK, across various leadership roles, she achieved a number of notable successes. She led the team which recruited one million women to take part in Race for Life (the UK’s largest women-only fundraising event), set-up multi-million pound income streams across corporate partnerships and led the charity’s celebrity foundation and high-value division.
Locks joined Action for Children in 2017 and strives to transform the level of support and funding the charity receives and, in turn, make a sustainable difference to the lives of the most disadvantaged children in the UK.
Locks is a busy mum, with two young children, and in her spare time enjoys running and open water swimming.
