Christmas is upon us. Which means its time to choose that Secret Santa gift. But if you’re not sure what gift to buy this year, why not give a charity Secret Santa present?

Each year, we ask our supporters to be a Secret Santa for a vulnerable child. Because too many UK children have never felt the magic of Christmas. No stockings. No presents. No festive food - maybe no food at all. Their first memories of Christmas could be going to bed hungry, being too cold to sleep, and losing all hope when Santa doesn’t come.

Our Secret Santas help change that. And children across the UK need a Secret Santa like you.

Charity Secret Santa gift ideas

This year, your Secret Santa gift could be a gift that gives back. How? By choosing one of our charity virtual gifts and donating to our Secret Santa Christmas appeal. Your charity gift could help put the magic back into Christmas for a vulnerable child, and help us be there for the children, young people, and families that need us most.

Whatever your Secret Santa budget is this year, we have something to suit you.

Little Teddy £5

By giving £5, you could buy a little teddy bear for a child living in care or being supported by our services.

Big Teddy £7

Why not add a toy car for £3 to make a £10 Secret Santa gift.

A £7 donation could give a vulnerable child a big teddy to comfort them during difficult times. If you want to round your gift to £10, you could add a toy car to your gift for £3 too when you check out.

£10 a trip to visit Santa for a child

If you’re wondering what to buy for your £10 Secret Santa gift, then why not give a donation that could give a trip to visit Santa to a child who may otherwise miss out. It’s the perfect way to help put the magic back into Christmas.

£15 books and toys to help a child learn

If your Secret Santa budget is a little higher than the usual £5 or £10, then a donation of £15 could be the perfect Secret Santa charity gift. With a donation of £15, you could buy a child the books and toys they need to learn and thrive.

£25 a Christmas present for a child who may otherwise go without

A £25 charity Secret Santa gift is the perfect meaningful present to give this year. Christmas should be a time of magic, especially for children. But for many, Christmas is just another day of empty cupboards and putting on an extra jumper to keep warm. And wondering why their friend got presents and they didn’t.

With a donation of £25, however, you could buy a present for a child who may otherwise go without. They'll know Santa has remembered them - but they won't know that Santa is you.

What your Secret Santa gift means

Last year, we were able to buy Jess the ice cream maker she had always wanted. We could only do this because of the generous support of people like you. We also gave Jess and her mum, Sarah, a surprise hamper packed with Christmas treats like mince pies, a Christmas pudding, and vouchers for fresh food. It was a Christmas they'll remember for a lifetime.

I’ve always wanted an ice cream maker so I was really excited when mum said I could have it for Christmas. I know Action for Children made it happen. Mum calls them Guardian Angels because they’re always there for us.
