Shining an everlasting light for vulnerable children
Introducing our Sky of Stars - a tribute site for those who leave a gift in their will. Can you find your loved one?
When someone leaves Action for Children a gift in their will, the course of a child’s life could change. This incredible act of generosity helps us create brighter futures for vulnerable children across the UK.
That’s why, when we receive a gift from someone’s will, a star is added to our Sky of Stars in their name to create an everlasting legacy. A star that will shine to help give children a brighter future.
It's filled with the lasting light of supporters who have left us a gift in their will.
What is our Sky of Stars?
The Sky of Stars is our tribute site to recognise the generosity of those who chose to leave Action for Children a gift in their will. It’s a way of showing the difference they’ve made for vulnerable children and young people across the UK.
We're delighted to announce the launch of our tribute site, Sky of Stars. It felt so important to us to have a dedicated space to remember and honour our incredible supporters who chose to leave a gift in their will to Action for Children.
Kara, Kirsty and Sarah, The Gifts in Wills Team
Anyone can visit the site and search for their loved one who has left a gift in their will to Action for Children.
We’ll add the star as soon as we’ve received a gift – so long as loved ones are happy for us to. And anyone can then find that star in the Sky of Stars by clicking search, and typing in their name.
Gifts in wills mean so much to us here at Action for Children.
Last year, they made up 25% of our donations. We simply couldn’t do our work without the vital support we receive through gifts in wills.

Our Sky of Stars is our way of saying thank you for each gift. It is an online space for our incredible supporters to be remembered for the huge difference they’ve made to vulnerable children.
