Want to help vulnerable children? Boycott your Bed!
Boycott your Bed is back! On Friday 7 October, we’re challenging you to raise money by giving up your bed for one night
For the last 25 years, Action for Children has challenged people to give up their bed for a night, raising an incredible £13 million along the way. This simple act has had a huge impact on children, young people and their families across the UK.
This year’s event is a little different. You can join in at one of two events.
Boycott your Bed: Live is an opportunity for corporate teams to come together – with both colleagues and peers – and fundraise for vulnerable children.
On 7 October, corporate teams – in London, Leeds, Cardiff, Belfast and Glasgow – will be involved in a unique experience of bonding. Join them, gather your colleagues and spend an unforgettable night sleeping out under the stars.
Sign up. Team up. Sleep out.
Can't make it to the live event? No problem. You can still take part in Boycott your Bed as part of our ‘Stay Up’ version.
On 7 October, join a community of people giving up one night’s sleep to help more UK children have a safe and happy childhood. How you spend your night is up to you – but we’ll be on hand every step of the way with invigorating challenges in the exclusive Bed Boycotters Facebook group.
Sign up. Join in. Stay up.
Right now, there are 3.9 million UK children locked in poverty. Life has been hard for these children. And now with the cost-of-living crisis spiralling out of control, they’re even more vulnerable.
Tonight, children all over the UK will go to sleep hungry. Some won’t even have a warm bed to climb into.
This year, by boycotting your bed and raising vital funds, you can help to provide food, clothes and essentials to children in crisis. Provide protection and recovery to child victims of abuse and neglect. Give young people the tools to look after their mental health. Support parents going through a tough time. And look after young people who care for others.
Bring hope to vulnerable children across the UK. Sign up for Boycott your Bed.
