We offer a range of parenting programmes to families looking for additional help with managing their children's behaviour
We're here to help you learn how to support your children in all areas of their development. We have the following parenting programmes available:
- The Incredible Years programmes for parents of children aged 3-11 years
- The Incredible Years Pre-school group programme for parents of children aged 3-6 years (14 weeks)
- The Incredible Years School Age group programme for parents of children aged 6-11 years (12 weeks)
- The Incredible Years group programme for parents of children aged 6 to 11 with a diagnosis of ADHD (18 weeks)
Families need to fulfil the criteria to be considered for the programmes.
Our service is here to help you become more confident in dealing with your child's behaviour. We aim to build on the strategies you have and give you new ideas and skills to build a strong positive relationship with your child.
You'll learn how to enjoy playing and spending time with your child and how to encourage them to learn new skills and have positive interactions with others. You will also be shown how to handle misbehaviour.
The goal is for you and your child to get along, and for your child to become better at being social and feel happier.
The child that you need support with will also need to be aged between 3 and 11 years (or have a developmental age of between 3 and 11 years).
