Support for families of children with additional needs, or who need help to overcome challenges
The Early Intervention Support Service (EISS) offers short-term support to families with children 0-18 years who have additional needs or are facing challenges that are difficult to overcome such as: issues at school, behavioural difficulties, family difficulties, difficulties with developmental or health related issues.
We provide parenting support and carry out individual work with children who are seven or older for issues such as: anxiety, self-esteem, bullying, parental separation, anger management.
We know every family is different, and we tailor our approach to each one. We take a 'whole family approach', developing a relationship that works for the individual needs of each family member and child, taking care to listen and value everyone's needs and provide this support for a period of up to 12 weeks. We provide sessions in homes or at other appropriate venues.
