We support children and young people affected by the substance use of other people around them
We work on a outreach basis. This means we visit or meet children and young people where they feel most comfortable to meet. That might be at home, school or in another safe environment.
The sessions use a child-and-young-person-friendly therapeutic model. This enables children and young people to talk through their fears and feelings. They can then build their self-esteem and resilience through activities that are tailored to them as individuals.
In addition, we arrange group sessions where children and young people can experience new fun activities together. We also run sessions on keeping safe, first aid and what to do in an emergency.
The service can take referrals from professionals as well as from families, carers and young people themselves.
