Opened in 2010 and registered for 34 children, we are open 51 weeks of the years (closed between Christmas and the new year)
We offer full day sessions from 8am-6pm and half day sessions from 8am-1pm and 1-6pm.
We offer services to both fee paying children and funded children (2year funding and 3-4 year funding).
We are situated in the children centre building and have a good working relationship both with the children's centre and the local primary school.
We pride ourselves with the relationships and partnership working with our parents.
As a small nursery we pride ourselves in being able to offer a very homely environment and a more individual care for our children, this is more evident in the baby room which can only have 6 babies at a time.
We have 3 rooms in the nursery:
- babies 0-2 years
- toddlers 2-3 years
- preschool 3-5years
All rooms have access to a very small but well utilised out door area (babies have their own section)
All our staff hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and food hygiene level 2. We have an apprentice who is working towards her NVQ level 2 and a few members of staff who are working towards their NVQ level 3 qualifications and level 5. The rest of our staff are fully qualified from a level 2 to a degree level including an EYPS.
