Action for Children responds to ‘Boy In The Tent’ Max Woosey’s New Year Honour
Action for Children congratulates Max Woosey on his incredible New Year honour. He has been a great supporter of the charity and our work supporting children, young people and families across the UK.
In July, Max took his extraordinary fundraising effort to the next level by sleeping out at ZSL London Zoo in support of our Boycott Your Bed campaign, which raised vital funds for vulnerable UK children hit hardest by the pandemic. He said this was his scariest sleep out experience.
Later that month, his camping journey with Action for Children led him to the door of Number 10, where he pitched his tent in the garden and met with the Prime Minister.
In what has been a tough year for many, Max and his trusty tent have been a shining light to children all over the UK. Thank you Max for your support.
