The Sports Dinner is a high-profile, annual event that raises funds to help us ensure safe and happy childhoods across the UK.
It's an evening of dining and inspiring entertainment as notable sports people deliver inspiring speeches. Past speakers include sporting legends David Haye, Frank Bruno, Steve Davis, AP McCoy, Greg Rusedski, Joe Calzaghe, Colonel Dame Kelly Holmes, Paula Radcliffe MBE, and most recently the incredible mother-daughter duo Eilish & Liz McColgan.
This long-standing dinner is attended by over 400 business leaders from a range of sectors. So far, it's raised over £1 million for the children and families that Action for Children support.

The Sports Dinner 2024 took place Friday 7th June at the Hilton Glasgow. Our guest speakers for the 20th anniversary Sports Dinner were Eilish McColgan & Liz McColgan MBE.
Eilish and Liz shared stories about their life and incredible athletic careers ahead of Eilish competing at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
